Biography

Robert R. (“Bob”) Adams is the Managing Partner and a founding partner of Adams Gallinar, P.A. Recognized as one of Florida’s foremost transactional real estate attorneys, Bob is widely regarded for his precision, strategic counsel, and ability to bring parties together to achieve exceptional results.

Bob earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 1990, where he was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif and awarded the Arky Scholarship with a full-ride. During his time at law school, he served as an Associate Editor of the University of Miami Law Review, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and rigorous legal analysis. Prior to law school, Robert graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business, with high honors, from Florida International University in 1987.

With over three decades of experience, Bob has built a sterling reputation for delivering unparalleled legal services in real estate, corporate law, and private wealth management. His deep expertise and commitment to excellence have solidified his status as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex legal and business matters. Bob’s professional affiliations include membership in the Florida Bar's Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law sections, as well as its Business and Tax Law sections.

Before co-founding Adams Gallinar, P.A., Robert gained invaluable experience at Steel Hector & Davis, possibly the most prestigious law firm in Florida at the time, where he worked on sophisticated transactional matters. Recognizing the need for a firm that could deliver big-law quality work with the personalized attention of a boutique practice, Bob left Steel Hector & Davis to establish Adams Gallinar, P.A. His vision was to create a firm that combined excellence and hands-on care to meet the unique needs of each client.

Bob's achievements extend beyond his professional practice. He has been recognized with numerous academic honors, including membership in Phi Eta Sigma, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Societies. Additionally, he was listed in Who's Who in American Law Students and the National Dean's List. Fluent in and a “native” speaker of Spanish, Bob is well-equipped to serve a diverse client base and frequently handles cross-border transactions and international business matters.

Bob was born in Coral Gables, Florida, and raised in Latin America, where he lived, for extended periods, in Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. He attended the prestigious Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola while living in Puerto Rico and (after moving back to Miami) graduated from Christopher Columbus High School (class of 1983), where he continued to hone and polish his discipline and tenacity that would define his career. An accomplished athlete, Robert holds a black belt in Judo and represented Puerto Rico in the 2nd Pan American Judo Games, the top Judo competition in the “Americas” and often considered a regional equivalent to the Olympics. His competitive spirit and drive continue to influence his professional approach.

Bob’s personal passions include boating , fishing, and spearfishing, hobbies he developed while growing up in Puerto Rico and traveling through the Caribbean. These interests reflect his love of the ocean and the adventurous spirit that defines his life both personally and professionally. Bob's leadership, expertise, and dedication to his clients have been instrumental in establishing Adams Gallinar, P.A. as a preeminent transactional law firm. His reputation as one of the best in his field continues to inspire trust and confidence among clients and peers alike.
